A COUNTRY I WOULD LIKE TO VISIT


There are many countries that I would still like to visit. With my family we have visited many countries that were our favorites at the time. But personally I would like to visit Ireland and Northern Ireland. 

Beyond geography and beautiful natural landscapes, Irish has had a significant influence on other cultures, especially in the field of literature, like Oscar Wilde, C.S. Lewis and James Joyce. 

Through literature, these authors were configuring an interesting imaginary in their work. Each book has setting that is set in this country. It's like Lord of the Rings and New Zealand, whose literature is not of personal interest to me -I'm sorry, fellas-

The Ireland's musicians are so interesting to me, like Van Morrison, Shane MacGowan and My Bloody Valentine, that when composing, they focus on their city, the troubles -Northern Ireland Conflict- and their country's landscapes in general. 

I would like to visit the places that mean a lot in history, especially in Northern Ireland, a country of uprisings and bravery. I would like to visit both capitals, Dublin and Belfast. And why not? drink a glass of Baileys at first hour of the morning.

TIME TRAVEL TO THE PAST

If I had the opportunity to travel to the future or the past, I would choose the past, definitely! The past is a safe place. A place that I consider comfortable too, where I discovered places that will never return and I found beautiful surprises all the time, especially in my childhood. Usually, everybody says 'I had a good childhood'. Me too, but my childhood was amazing because in that part of my life, I remember that I learned a lot of things in a very short time. MY DREAM JOB

I'm currently studying architecture, but my dream job isn't related to architecture. My dream job is actually being an aviator, an aircraft pilot, which is like being a bus driver but with more style!  I love the sensations felt when a plane takes off, when it moves in the air, seeing the sky. Being in heaven is like touching the clouds. I really enjoy traveling on a plane, even though for most of the people it's uncomfortable and scary at times, especially in the take off, my favorite moment.  A plane is an extremely complex machine that requieres careful attention, for your life and for those you have 'on board' In Chile, studying to be a pilot is incredibly expensive and you must have perfect physical conditions. When a was 19, I once qualified to study that but my cardiac arrhythmia didn't allow it, something that frustrated me a lot at the time, because I always loved airplanes since I was a child, but life goes on! THE BEST HOLIDAYS EVER

The best holidays were in Italy in 2019. After having worked hard for a long time, we could travel to Italy with a plan to tour 'Mochileando'. It was 45 days where we covered most of the country, touring thought the most important cities, like Rome, Florence, Venice, Milan, Genoa, Naples, etc. Most of the journey was by train. The train works great except for a few delays. People in Italy are relaxed. We were surprised by the ancient culture, the cities in general, the museums, the architecture and -above all- the food and drinks. Terrific!   Italy has a special meaning for our family because my mother lived in that country after the political exile.
